Processor Speeds
The Intel® SKA4 Baseboard server platform supports Intel® Pentium® III Xeon™ processors (500 and 550 MHz, 512k, 1M, 2M cache) and 2.8V Pentium III Xeon processors (700MHz) with a front side bus (FSB) of 100 MHz. It does not support Pentium III Xeon processors that have a front side bus (FSB) of 133 MHz. See the tables below for more specific information on supported processors.
Note: For Pentium III Xeon processors running at 700 MHz, the SKA4 Baseboard server platform only supports the low voltage (2.8V) version, not the high voltage (5V or 12V) version.
Run the Sensor Data Update Utility when changing processor speeds or types, as this ensures that the server management software has the right values for the processors that are installed.
